The Desert Sun Guild was established in 1988. This group of about 45 women have established their niche as the hosts of Spring Gala, which includes gourmet food, wine and an auction. Proceeds benefit Seattle Children's Hospital Uncompensated Care.

 Each year the Seattle Children's Guilds of the Tri-Cities area host fundraising events to support the uncompensated care program of the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle. The uncompensated care program provides medical care to children whose families are unable to pay the costs of specialty care.
